We all know that the Spanos can’t field a winner. Their resume shows that they don’t want to pay top dollar for a good coach, thus they keep getting bad head coaches. The smart players don’t want to even play for them. Go back to the 2004 draft. Archie Manning knew that his son would never get to a Super Bowl playing for the Chargers. Worst yet, he didn’t want his son to get beat up. Guess what he was right. Yes, Rivers is a stud QB but the last few seasons he is always running for his life.
The Spanos are only human and totally dislike anyone saying how bad of an owner they are. Dean is not even close to being as smart as Alex was. I think they will sell the team within a few years to the CEO of Disney – Robert Iger. Maybe the will sell the team within the next 4 months and take teh money and run. Robert Iger would be a great owner. He is VERY smart and a visionary.
If he becomes the owner I will travel to LA for a few games.
