why the Chargers constantly loose close games

There are several reasons: poor coaching, Rivers is way too unorganized in the last 2 or 3 minutes of the 4th qtr, no run game at all and they still try it-stupidity, and obviously – terrible field goal kicking.
let’s review each reason- why does the coach call a 3rd down passing play that is short of the first down marker- answer because he is inexperienced and flat out doesn’t understand statistics. Statistics show that if you pass the ball on 3rd down and it is short of the first down marker you fail to get the first down over 65% of the time.
Rivers is way too unorganized in the final minutes of a game. Look at him running up and down the line telling the players where they are suppose to be. He doesn’t instill confidence, instead he demonstrates confusion. This happens constantly in almost every game in the final minutes. Either the coach or Rivers is not doing something right.
Run game- Melvin Gordon was a first round pick. For the Chargers to admit that he has failed miserably as their #1 RB means that the GM- Telesco, has to admit that he blew it. He isn’t going to do that because he is too proud. You may say it’s the offense line- that is partially true but after a while you have to think that a good RB will still be able to find some holes every once in a while. Unfortunately, Melvin gets an F for that.
Field goal kidding- I’m sorry but after the second blown field goal the kicker needs to be fired. He has missed 3 easy field goals for a NFL pro.
