why Chargers are winning?

I speak to the few SD Charger fans and they are wondering what the heck happened to the Chargers. Well, the 3 biggest things are: 1) probably the most important thing is the overhaul of the offensive line, 2) a new coach that finally realizes that they need to be not so predictable on 1st and 2nd down, and 3) Keenan Allen is healthy.

The overhaul of the offensive line is why Rivers isn’t running for his life, like the last few years.   This year you don’t see Rivers with happy feet. He knows he is going to have time to find a receiver.   The other big benefit of a new offensive line is the running game.  Melvin Gordon finally is justifying his draft status in the 1st round.  I’m not a fan of Ken Whisenhunt.  He was so, so predictable the last 2 years.  I’m a fan and you knew that 1st down was a run between the tackles.  2nd down was probably another run.  3rd down and 7 was a pass.  This year he is letting Rivers play.  We see the results.  Ah, then there is Keenan.  Flat out, he is a STUD/Pro Bowler.  All I can say, is please stay healthy.
